Cancellation & Refund Policy

Consultations

Consultation fees are paid in advance when you book online, using the payment methods shown at checkout.

Cancelling or rescheduling: You may cancel or reschedule a consultation free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment time by emailing info@beincanada.ca. Consultations cancelled at least 24 hours in advance are refunded in full to the original payment method.

Late cancellations and missed appointments: Consultation fees are not refundable for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, for missed appointments, or once the consultation has taken place.

If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you may choose a new time or receive a full refund.

Retained Services

Fees, refunds and termination for application and representation services are governed by your written retainer agreement. In summary:

- Advance payments are held in our client trust account and are withdrawn only when a milestone in your retainer is completed and invoiced. Fees for completed milestones are earned regardless of the outcome of the application.

- If an application is refused because of an error or omission on our part, you will be refunded in full.

- If the retainer ends for any other reason, you will receive an itemized statement of completed milestones and amounts invoiced, and any unearned fees and unused disbursements held in trust will be returned to you. Unused prepaid consulting hours are refundable.

- Earned fees are not refunded if we must withdraw because a client knowingly provided false or misleading information.

- Government fees paid to IRCC or other authorities are subject to those authorities' own refund rules.
